Why do people add textures to their photos? It may be to make the photo look old, or scratched. Sometimes it’s done to take a good photo in a different direction, or to add a painterly effect. Textures can help evoke emotion or set a mood so that the end result looks like the artistic vision of the photographer.
I will demonstrate the processes I use to create a photo art piece with textures. I use the latest version of Adobe Photoshop on a Mac but many of the techniques can also be used with Windows and prior versions of Photoshop.
Each participant will receive email with information for joining the ZOOM webinar.
Textures aren’t just a great way of enhancing your photos; they’re also a lot of fun! I enjoy experimenting with different textures on all types of photos. It doesn’t always work, but the failures are just part of a learning experience and make the successes even more rewarding.
Prior to class, each participant will receive email with information for joining the ZOOM webinar.
