When Gas Pumps Were Manual

Sale price $45.00

Still standing, this 1920s visible-cylinder gas pump reminds us of a time when station attendants truly had to pump the gas. Behind it, a weathered wooden roadside stop peeks through a tangle of branches, slowly being reclaimed by the trees.

Developed in the studio with a rustic, aged finish, the image honors the small roadside landmarks of rural Texas, where the pump still keeps watch long after the last customer has driven on.
